My sister and I have been sending this same birthday card back and forth to each other for over 15 yrs now.

 

Wait a minute, does that say, "HAPRY BIRTHDAY" ? 

Oh, I see, Industries for the blind. Lol!

Tears and Adjustments

August 2012

 

August was a blur of activity which included a trip to Shriners Hospital, several visits to the Prosthetic center and Physical Therepy appoinments. I was worried about Laura going to kindergarten with so many leg issues.

 

Many days started like this picture and ended in tears.

 

 

Here she is feeling ouchy after a walk to the playground.
